It is a great pleasure for me to witness the outstanding and rapid development of Kasia Pietrzko's artistry. Her approach to the piano is at once patient, inquisitive, bold, and filled with a sense of unforced discovery that characterizes a truly creative vision. As a composer, her voice is constantly evolving and deepening in wildly engaging directions. For those who do not yet know her, the new album "Ephemeral Pleasures" should be a sign of the emergence of an important, new voice in this genre of music.
